  • Prices are per person and are all inclusive of GST. Full Delegate fees cover the daily conference program, lunches, refreshments, and the Welcome Drinks on Sunday, 17 September. The Convention Gala Cocktails on Monday evening and Convention Breakfast on Tuesday morning are optional, and a ticket fee applies. Deadline for all registrations is Friday, 8 September at 5.00 PM.

  • No. Anyone who registers to attend the WA Local Government Convention 2023 will also have access to attend the Convention Exhibition and the Supplier Showcase.

  • You can view the event program online HERE. The program will also be available in the Event App.

  • All registered attendees will receive a link via email to download the Event App 2 – 3 weeks prior to the WA Local Government Convention 2023.

  • Yes, there will be buses transporting guests from Crown to Westin Perth at 6:00pm on Monday 18 September. There will be buses transporting guests from Westin Perth back to Crown at 9:30pm on Monday 18 September.

  • The Exhibition is a core element of the Convention and is located inside the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth on 18- 19 September. The Exhibition is an opportunity for professional services to connect with Western Australian Local Governments.

    Taking place alongside the Convention for the first time, the WALGA Supplier Showcase 2023 is hosted outdoors at Crown Perth on 19 – 20 September and is for exhibitors with large-scale products and machinery such as transport and waste management suppliers.

  • If you are unable to attend, a full refund will be given provided we are notified in writing prior to the RSVP date of Friday, 18 August. After this date, a registration can be transferred to another member of the Council, but no refund will be issued.

  • Yes. You must notify us by the RSVP date of Friday, 18 August and your registration can be transferred to another member of the Council.

    If you have registered to attend either the Mayors and Presidents Forum or the Heads of Agency Breakfast, please contact the WALGA Events Team at events@walga.asn.au to arrange an alternative attendee.

  • Special dietary requirements, mobility and any other special needs should be indicated when registering, and WALGA will use its best endeavours to meet these requests.
